Aladdin

For the past few months Ms. Duggan and Ms. Ní Mhurchú have been preparing 5^th and 6^th Class to perform the musical Aladdin. We started the auditions at the end of February. After much consideration the cast was chosen and we started to work straight away. With Ms. Duggan as our choreographer and Ms. Ní Mhurchú as our director, the show rapidly took shape.

We had our first dress rehearsal two weeks before the big performance. The costumes really made the show come to life. Our very first performance was for the pupils in the Senior Building and everyone was very excited but nervous too. We were so grateful to Ms. Ward and her 5^th Class students for creating such a wonderful colourful set.

After our first performance we really got into the swing of things, as we did our second performance that night. We were all very excited for our final performance for the pupils in the Junior Building. We would like to give a special thanks to Timmy and Anne for their work behind the scenes.
