3rd and 4th Class Boys Show How It’s Done!
The 3rd and 4th class boys in Wicklow got the new year off to a flying start with lots of great football on show at indoor venues around the county. This was a 7 a-side indoor tournament with the emphasis on fun and participation for all. The games were fast paced and most enjoyable to watch. Some of the teams to take part were St. Cronan’s, Scoil Chualann, Gaelscoil Cill Mhantåin, St. Fergal’s, Newtown and Kilcoole. These schools all had two teams each and the boys represented their schools impeccably showing great sportmanship. Our newly trained young whistlers took charge of the refereeing duties and did a fine job. Well done to all involved.
