It was a memorable day in the history of Kilcoole PS, proudly attended by all pupils, staff and representatives of our Board of Management. In attendance was Taoiseach Simon Harris, Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly, TDs Jennifer Whitmore, Stephen Matthews and John Brady, Councillors Tom Fortune and Edward Timmons, representatives from Mythen Construction and Fr. Des who blessed the site.
Contracts were signed, the sod was turned, the choir sang beautifully, and the sun shone. An ice cream cone was enjoyed by all.
Work on the sites at both St. Anthony's and St. Brigid's Buildings began Monday, October 14. We look forward to their completion in two year's time.
