Staggered morning access for 2024/25 school year (from 'Summer Newsletter' sent home to all pupils in June):
We would ask that there is no queueing at school gates before 9.10am. Teachers have prepared pupils in all classes over the last two weeks in June so pupils are very familiar with line up zones for their new classes in September. Red path on Brigid’s side is to be kept free at all times for pupils accessing their line.

Senior Infants (current Junior Inf.) 9.15am teachers will come down to collect all three classes for the first 3 mornings.
Junior Infants – 9.20 line up on day one and 9.17 and for the next four days, teachers will come to the gate to collect them. After that time JI pupils will walk up with SNA support. Ms. Mc Donagh will be at the gate and Special Needs Assistants will support the pupils along the drive.
4th, 5th and 6th Class pupils will access St Anthony’s Building with no parental support as they know their building and new zones very well. Third class may enter with their parents at 9.20am on the first day. After that we hope 3rd will access St. Anthony’s at 9.17am without parental supervision. 3rd classes (current 2nd) have visited their new building and have familiarised themselves with new line up area many times over the last two weeks.
The school calendar for the 2024/ 2025 school year was emailed to parents with booklists earlier this term. All books will be bought by school for pupils. Please ensure that pupils who cannot tie shoelaces are wearing shoes with velcro fastening when in school. Parents of pupils who have medicines in school should check their child’s medication in September to ensure it is still in date and safe to use.
