All roads led to Laragh on November 10th for the first Cumann na mBunscol Tráth na gCeist to be held since 2018. There was great excitement at the prospect and the boys and girls in 5th and 6th class that were chosen to represent KPS were prepared and ready to go. There were 8 rounds in total which included the titles GAA, Missing Letters and Instagram Handles, All Around Ireland, General Knowledge, Wicklow GAA, Gaelic Games, News and a picture round. The two teams from KPS represented themselves and the school with pride and performed to a very high standard. Although KPS did not come home with any medals it was a great learning experience for all. The fact that the team members had gotten 2 homework passes and that Ms. McDonagh presented them all with a selection box and a pen helped somewhat!
Well done to all the team members for all their hard work and to the subs that admirably came to support on the night too. Team members: E. Hatton, I. MacLeod, O. McDermott, Z. Mahon, A. O’Brien, A. Kelly, D. Kelly, R. Keane; Subs: M. Dunne and K. Redmond.
