Camogie Blitz in Bray
On Thursday, 6th October, the girls of 4th, 5th and 6th class displayed some outstanding camogie talent in the Allianz Camogie Participation Blitz in Bray Emmets. Luckily, weather stayed on the girls’ side and we had perfect conditions for playing each of our games. Each of the teams involved showed tremendous skills during the fast-paced games. The girls of KPS encouraged each other and highlighted how they worked well as a team. Most importantly everyone got to participate in an environment that was non-competitive and played to the best of their ability for their school.
There were a total of six matches played by the girls of KPS against Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath, St. Pat’s Wicklow, Greystones Community National School and St. Peter’s.
The girls should be very proud of themselves as they showed great skills and talent, enjoyed each game, always encouraged each team member and represented KPS with pride. Well done!
